Stronvar Aerospace Appoints Patrick Byrne as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors

Stronvar Aerospace today announced that Patrick Byrne has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Byrne brings to Stronvar Aerospace a wealth of leadership experience spanning operational transformation, digital innovation, and corporate governance. He currently serves as Chairman of both Diebold Nixdorf (NYSE: DBD) and Verra Mobility (NASDAQ: VRRM) and was previously Chief Executive Officer of GE Digital, the software division of General Electric as well as GE Onshore Wind, a global leader in renewable energy. At GE he also led the corporate teams for Lean and Safety transformation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Byrne held senior leadership roles at Fortive, Danaher, Tektronix, Intermec, Agilent Technologies, and Hewlett-Packard, building a strong track record in scaling global high-tech manufacturing businesses.
At Danaher and GE, Mr. Byrne was a champion, practitioner, and coach/leader of lean operating systems, including work in support of GE Aerospace Flight Deck lean operating system.

Stronvar Aerospace was formed in early 2025 and was supported with an investment from Blackstone’s private equity strategy for individual investors.
